The Seven Seas Explorer has been dubbed the world’s most luxurious cruise ship, and at first glance we might agree. It just launched last month and will be sailing on all seven seas, as the name suggests. The project of building this ship cost approximately 450 million dollars with the capacity to accommodate up to 750 passengers.
The per night cost of a Regent Suite in the Seven Seas Explorer cruise ship is $10,000. This suite occupies most of Deck 14 and fully encompasses what luxury is all about. There are a total of 375 suites that consist of 10 unique categories with different price points.
Each suite has an attached bathroom and huge balconies for you to enjoy the fresh sea breeze. A few categories get the privilege of a private butler. The rest of the suites all come with cool perks like L’Occitane bath amenities, Veuve Cliquot, Jacquart Champagne, plush furnishings and beddings. More perks are added when you approach the higher suite levels.
There are 8 restaurants on the Seven Seas Explorer each offering different cuisine and tastes from all over the world. For extra bucks you can complete the luxurious experience with bottles of wine such as the Louis Roederer Cristal Rose 2007 (for an extra $525), Chateau Margaux Cru Classe 2007 (for an extra $1,150). The restaurants also offer dozens of other complimentary treats you can munch on while enjoying the royal comforts of the cruise. And if this wasn’t enough for you, the breakfast bar has a caviar station that boasts Blinis, Siberian Osetra and any other accoutrements you could wish for. Prefer caviar on your three-egg omelet? They have that as well.
Another cherry-on-top option the cruise offers is a special request service. You can give the chef any recipe you like, and you’ll get that dish. Whether it’s your favorite chocolate chip cookies or your mom’s special sauce – all you need to do is inform them 24 hours prior. The taste is guaranteed to be just like home, only with a much fancier display.
The Seven Seas Explorer shouts luxury from each and every aspect it holds, including: cruise fare, pre-cruise night at a luxurious hotel, shore excursions on every port, top-class drinks, Wi-Fi, gratuities and much, much more.

If you want to experience luxury without ripping a hole in your pocket, you have the option of a very reasonable package (considering all the luxuries you will be offered) that includes a 10-night cruise on the Caribbean. The entry level price is $5,499 – almost half the price of the luxury suites you can book for only a single day!
The concept of this cruise ship is unique and exciting. It’s the little things that count, and all those little things should add up to a travel experience of a lifetime.
